trtSzia !
The initramfs script is attempting to mount /flash which is the boot=something entry in kernel boot params. It does this by determining the partition type and then following the appropriate mount process for that type. If it cannot detect the filesystem type; a) it cannot mount/read the kernel/SYSTEM files, b) you see this error, c) something is not right with the disk (or card, whatever). In most cases with SD media it is simple corruption to the partition tables and you can restore a clean image to the card (overwriting the broken one). In other cases the media has developed bad cells and the only way to resolve things is replacing the card. OpenELEC uncompresses the OS into a virtual filesystem on each boot from only two files (kernel.img and SYSTEM on a pi). This is great for consistency and preventing users from breaking the OS, but the reliance on two large files containing 100% of the OS means we are more sensitive to failure in the underlying media. One bad block and OpenELEC does not boot, whereas in a conventional Linux distro which scatters thousands of files over the disk that one bad block may only affect one unimportant file.
