Közben utánanéztem, hogy mi a helyzet az Ubuntu Unity változat háza táján, Telegramon a következő bejegyzést tették közzé:
We want to announce that there won’t be a Ubuntu Unity 25.10 ISO release. During the testing phase bugs were discovered that we just couldn’t fix in time for a respin of the ISO. We had to mark te ISO as not ready. We are not sure if upgrading from 25.04 to 25.10 will go flawless or not and if the same issues occur as found in the ISO. We are going to start from scratch and work on the 26.04 LTS release once the development cycle starts and try to bring back Ubuntu Unity to its more original state as it was with 24.04 and the versions before that. Sorry for the inconvenience. We make sure that the next release in April 2026 will be a better release compared to the ones we had previously. Thank you for your support, patience and understanding.
Szóval a 25.10-es verzió ISO-ját különböző hibák és bizonytalanságok miatt inkább nem adják ki, a következő változatra, a 26.04 LTS-re koncentrálnak. Frissíteni viszont lehet a régi kiadásról, de előfordulhat, hogy az is hibába ütközik.
